Meet Bella Popera
Bella Popera brings together three young multi-lingual sopranos whose self-appointed brief in life is to deliver a breathtaking set of operatic arias and chart-topping covers with panache and flair.
This delightful classical crossover trio has created an engaging repertoire that sets out to build musical bridges between contrasting genres, giving a stylish twist to familiar songs. Their carefully crafted three-part harmonies of operatic arias, chart-topping hits, and musical theatre classics are guaranteed to enchant and delight in equal measure.
Bella Popera is rightly proud of its cultural and linguistic diversity and are equally at ease performing in English, Spanish and French - perfect for both premium cruising and corporate events.
Whether singing Louis Armstrong’s timeless classic ‘What a Wonderful World’ - first released back in the mid-sixties - or Camilla Camello’s edgy ‘Havana’ which topped the charts just a year ago – Bella Popera are at the very top of their crossover game when creating innovative harmonies of hit songs.

Born in England, brought up in France, Julia began to pursue her passion for singing as a teenager whilst attending the United World College of the Atlantic. After completing her academic training in business at the Universities of Lancaster and Madrid, she attended the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, majoring in vocals.
She successfully auditioned as a soprano for the London Symphony Chorus, with performances taking her to prestigious venues such as Manchester's Bridgewater Hall and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Professional experience includes three years singing with premium cruise lines Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, performing as the lead vocalist of an in-house band, another contract as the vocalist of a successful acoustic duo and, latterly, fronting an Argentinian jazz band.
Graduating with a Master's degree in Music (Performance) from the University of Bristol, Hayley is a versatile singer based in London. She has enjoyed a varied performing career, with a repertoire including Baroque arias, lute song, light opera, musical theatre, and popular music.
She is currently a member of chamber groups Rosafresca and Baroque & Beyond, exploring both early and contemporary repertoire. She has performed in a variety of musicals, cabarets, and contemporary operas, and is an alumnus of Bath Camerata.
